1. This promo is open to all female CANDYMAG.COM members and non-members nationwide, age 13 years old and above.
2. To join, click on the CAREFREE® Fresh Corner link under the features section or CAREFREE® Video billboard or on the strip ad leading to the CAREFREE® Fresh Corner microsite and register your name, nickname, birth date, home address, and contact number.
3. To create an entry, finish the following statement: "This school year, I start fresh by OR with ______" and share it to us through a video or a photo. The video or photo entry should be related to the statement above. Entries may revolve around the following areas related to the upcoming school year:
Academics
Clubs and extra-curricular activities
Sports
Hobbies, passions and Interests
Friendships/Relationships
4. To submit an entry, upload the photo (in jpeg and 1mb max) or video (in mp4 or flv, a maximum of 30 seconds and 4mb max) and click submit. A system generated prompt will appear shortly after completion of entry. An email will be sent within 24 hours to inform the promo participant of the status of her entry (entries will be pre-moderated by a curator).
A participant must agree to the terms & conditions upon submission of an entry. All photos and videos submitted for this contest shall be the property of Summit Media, J&J and UM.
Entries shall be accepted weekly in the following order:
Batch 1: June 3, 2013 (12:00 a.m.) - June 13, 2013 (11:59 p.m.)
Batch 2: June 15, 2013 (12:00 a.m.) - June 27, 2013 (11:59 p.m.)
Batch 3: June 28, 2013 (12:00 a.m.) - July 12, 2013 (11: 59 p.m.)
5. All submitted entries will be digitally collated and electronically raffled off per batch at the Summit Media office located at the 7th floor of Robinsons Cybergate Center Tower 3, Pioneer St., Mandaluyong City on the following dates, in the presence of a DTI representative:
Batch 1: 14 June 2013, 5:00 p.m.
Batch 2: 28 June 2013, 5:00 p.m.
Batch 3: 15 July 2013, 5:00 p.m.
There will be two (2) winning photo senders who will each get ten (10) sets of SM Movie Cards worth P1, 500 and two (2) winning video senders who will each get one year supply of CAREFREE® liners worth P2, 100 as well as ten (10) sets of SM Movie Cards all worth P3, 600.
All photos and videos submitted from June 3 - July 12, 2013 shall be collated and judged by representatives from Summit Media, J&J and UM according to the following criteria on July 15, 2013 (5:00 p.m.):
40% - Originality and Creativity (Does the entry reflect the message of the Carefree Start Fresh campaign?)
40% - Compliance with the Brand Guidelines/Equity/Theme (Does the entry adhere to the brand's core values and to the contest's message and mechanics? Is the photo or video related to the answer given to complete the sentence?)
20% - Overall Appeal (Does the entry embody the values of the present-day Filipina teen? Does it meet all the criteria of this contest?)
Entries which will garner a score of 80-100 shall be part of CAREFREE®'s START FRESH COMPILATION VIDEO as his/her prize. The video will be posted on www.candymag.com on July 22, 2013 through the website’s video billboard for one month. The said video will also be posted on the Carefree Facebook page.
6. This contest will run from 3 June 2013 - 12 July 2013 only. Entries with incomplete details, containing nudity, violence, and profanity and/or those that do not comply with the contest terms and conditions will be disqualified. Videos and photos should not display any brand or product other than CAREFREE® or products of Johnson & Johnson (Philippines), Inc.
7. A participant can submit multiple entries per day and can win more than once within the duration of the promo.
One successful entry corresponds to one entry.
9. There is no purchase requirement for this promo.
10. All winners will be notified via email, SMS or registered mail. Winners' names will also be announced on CANDYMAG.COM's promo page.
11. To claim the prize, winners have to present a photocopy of a valid ID with photo matching their entry name + email notification. Minors may be asked for additional documentary requirements. Winners may claim their prize at the Summit Media office; Mondays-Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:59 a.m./1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. only up until 60 days from receipt of notifice.
12. Unclaimed prizes after the lapse of the redemption period shall be forfeited with prior DTI approval. Winners are responsible in claiming their prizes either in person or via a legitimate representative with complete requirements. Representatives with incomplete requirements will not be allowed to claim the prize/s on behalf of the winner. Provincial winners may opt to request Summit Media to have their prizes shipped, provided they have submitted all necessary documents for prize claiming.
13. Prizes are transferable but are not convertible to cash.
14. Summit Media shall shoulder 20% of the worth of each prize which exceeds P10, 000.
15. Winners below 18 years old must be assisted by a legal guardian in claiming their prizes, or a legal guardian may claim the prize on her behalf.
16. If the winner is unable to claim the prize him/herself, a representative must present the necessary documents:
- A letter of authorization duly signed by the winner, nominating the parent/legal guardian, or representative as the acknowledged recipient of the prize on the winners’ behalf.
- 2 original IDs of the winner with picture matching their entry name (acceptable/valid IDs are SSS, TIN, Passport, Office or School ID with birth date)
- 2 original IDs of the representative/legal guardian
17. Employees of Summit Media (print and digital), Universal McCann and J&J including those of their parent companies, affiliates, their third party suppliers and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining this promotion.
